So boom, here’s the story of T-Fare (Shot in Lagos NG, June 2025)
Toye gets sent on a mission to retrieve a briefcase. That mission takes him into an underground party. He enters with his guys (Belly, 1998) they split up, everyone’s lit, and that’s when he meets her.
She knows why he’s there.
He doesn’t know she’s the one he’s looking for.
He sits with her, chats to her, gets distracted, I’m talking weekends, no regrets, Uber or fare money, whatever gets her to go with him. Whole time, she’s holding the briefcase.
When she finally hands it to him, he leaves thinking he’s completed the task, only to realise later that the briefcase he came for isn’t the one he left with. Little did he know in his distraction, the brief case got swapped out right in front of his eyes. He then opens the briefcase and the note reads, “Til Next time, signed Dangerous Lagos Babe.”
Big love to the director and my producer for staying adaptable when things shifted. That’s production though you plan, then you adjust.
