The road to net zero won’t run on one fuel alone
“We believe the path forward lies in a multi-fuel landscape. Future-proofing to us means having the capability to switch and adapt as fuel technologies evolve.
The journey to net zero is not simple, and significant innovation is needed,” says Elena Timossi, Global Sales, Fuel Supply Systems at Alfa Laval.

It's all about the heat. The buzz and the blue light. Making welds that hold against forces thousands of times stronger than gravity.
To Amadeus Eriksson, it's personal.

The future of food is in good hands
On 28–29 April 2026, Alfa Laval was honoured to host the 19th European PhD Workshop on Food Engineering and Technology at our Innovation Centre in Flemingsberg, Sweden.
Organized by the Food Section of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), the workshop brought together PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from across Europe and beyond. Over two packed days, they presented their work, exchanged ideas and built industry connections that can help shape future food solutions.
From plant-based milk alternatives and cheese innovation to bread baking and new applications for red lentil flour, the research on display highlighted the creativity and commitment of the next generation of food engineers.
Their contributions to food security and processing efficiency were also recognized through the EFCE Food Engineering Awards, presented during the event.

Pressure. Heat transfer. Flow.
Three forces behind every thermal process — brought together in one solution.
Today we introduce TS45, our largest semi‑welded plate heat exchanger to date.
Built for demanding duties. Built for scale.

Efficiency begins with how effectively heat is transferred.
Higher‑performance heat transfer means lower energy demand — enabling more compact, powerful, and efficient processes.
Optimized for applications where energy efficiency makes the difference at scale.
A new heat transfer solution, designed for demanding duties, built for scale, engineered for efficiency.
Launching soon.

When systems scale up, pressure becomes the difference between performance and limitation.
Pressure is the test. It pushes. It loads. It defines what truly performs under demanding conditions.
Built to operate reliably when expectations — and pressures — increase.
A new heat transfer solution, built for demanding duties, built for scale, built for efficiency.
Launching soon.
Alfa Laval has released its first quarter results.
It shows a solid start to the year, with increased order intake and an EBITA margin at 18.1%.

Imagine solving complex onboard issues from anywhere in the world—instantly.
Augmented reality (AR) is now operational reality. By leveraging advances in connectivity and technology, Alfa Laval is strengthening its remote service offering to support crews in real-time while they sail the high seas – minimizing equipment downtime, boosting operational efficiency and enhancing crew safety.
Our service engineers can work directly with onboard crews to guide them step-by-step through diagnosing and resolving technical issues in real time.
Following successful trials conducted in partnership with shipowners and ship managers, we are now developing scalable remote support solutions designed to provide access to expert assistance, when and where it is needed.
