Some of my favorite shots ever have been from receptions. The way people melt into each other as they are surrounded by chaos. The saturated colors in a dark room. The music (and a little bit of alcohol) taking over the body. Slowing these moments down to emphasize the feelings and emotions rather than the visual gives it my favorite vibe, nostalgic.
Iāve seen and captured many weddings in my life so far and all have been phenomenal in their own way. But getting to edit and create a digital memory for my brother and now sister-in-law means so much more than just a video. It brought back memories of Nate and I pretending to be kung-fu ninjas in the living room after watching a Jackie Chan movie, sleeping in bunk beds our entire childhood, fighting over whoās turn it was to play Xbox, and all the times hating each other just to love each other even more. All those core memories to relive just to bring it all back to the present day where my younger brother is married to someone so spectacular. In a lot of ways I find myself looking up to him despite being the older one. So hereās a little Instagram edit from one of the coolest days Iāve experienced being an older brother. Love yāall š¤
P.S. - @natebittinger behind the cam kills it every time. He deserves all the recognition!
A single caption canāt encapsulate our entire story.. but a few photos from a great photographer shares a lot š¤
