It’s February 2018.
She was a Type A, calendar-obsessed, busy bee with a color-coordinated closet. He was an all-American, witty charmer with a love for football.
Like any modern love story, they met on a dating app. She was all business. He was all charm.
At first, it was all about the spicy texts. But when the heat turned up, sparks flew. He was everything she didn’t plan for. After a few wild dates, steamy nights and the typical, “hey, you up?” text at 2a, it was evident that their story was different.
…cue the ‘DTR’ talk, and suddenly the sparks begin to settle. Their romance had grown quickly. But just as fast, the reality of their differences pulled them apart. *now enters the situationship*
Ironically, life conspired to bring them back together. Each time, they were reminded of the time they’d once shared, and the affection that truly never went away.
It’s December 2019, and he realized the hardest lesson of all: he’d made a mistake. He DM’d her. She, of course, replied. With all the space and time that had allowed them to grow, it was finally their time.
Their story? Real, messy, and totally them.
Their love? Deeper, stronger, and now, perfectly aligned.

the year that changed everything.
the year that gave me the gift of vulnerability, spontaneity, courage, and patience.
a year of…
so much JOY and STRENGTH amidst the twists and turns.
seeing the world with those who fill my cup.
understanding myself and all I hope to be.
learning that boundaries are a necessity.
prioritizing movement.
protecting my peace.
I welcome 2026 and all of its possibilities.
I pray it be a year of creativity, opportunity and intention. Let it be filled with inspiration, integrity and deeper discernment. Let it be the year I strengthen my ability to be patient — pause first, act second. That I listen with compassion and move forward with grace.
