SCOTUS paused a 5th Circuit ruling that blocked mifepristone from being sent to patients via mail for now. Even this Supreme Court can see that the 5th Circuit decision was reckless.

Alexis McGill Johnson, CEO of Planned Parenthood, joined us to talk about a federal appeals court that temporarily barred abortion providers from prescribing Mifepristone through telemedicine and sending prescriptions through the mail. She says this is an attempt to “do another national abortion ban.” Today, the company that makes mifepristone filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court demanding access to the drug be fully restored.
The facts are *crystal* clear – restricting access to mifepristone has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with putting abortion further out of reach.
