Find yourself in an interactive performance where each Major Arcana card of the tarot deck is associated with a unique performance piece. 11 audience members will be asked to draw a card, creating a new and unique spread for the night. The performers/musicians don’t even know which songs will be performed until the cards are pulled! Through theatrical songs, classic hits, and even poetry, we share in a cathartic emotional and musical journey that will provide personal insight and community connection. As the evening progresses questions are answered, feelings are felt, and the show becomes one big group tarot reading. (after 6 years of the same old headshots) 📸: @bekzphotography I’m proud of finding a new purpose in directing & producing, living the freedom of embracing my queer joy, and feeling the love I’ve become surrounded by on a daily basis. As I overhead on the train - “If experience is the goal then you can never fail.” To much more experience 🥂✨

It’s been over a week since you’ve passed on but it’ll take a while to sink in. It’s hard to find the words for someone so impactful, who granted love so freely and grew a family so giant. Over 50 of us gathered to celebrate you on your home turf (the majority of which were immediate family), and that was still a tiny fraction of the people you’ve reached. When we cleared out your nursing home bed, you had a “memory” folder filled with exercises and only one personal item - a photo-copied letter that I wrote to you when I was 11. We’ve always had a special connection (I mean I’m literally copying you in the first photo), and yet I had no idea my words meant so much. This is that letter: Dear Grandma, I made you this bracelet for being a great grandma. I chose these colors because they each have a meaning. Pink means you are loving. Yellow means you are happy and smile a lot. Green means you are a caring and sharing person. Blue means you cheer others up when they feel down. Last but not least, purple means you look out for others around you. All of these intertwine to create you, a loving and caring grandma. You have over 15* grandchildren, but somehow you find time to spend with each of us. You take us on vacations, shopping, to the park, and even let us have sleepovers at your house. I always have a good time with you. There are more things you do than that, though. You help my family clean our house. You run errands for my parents. You even pay for the gas it takes to drive your car to Prattsville and back with all the donations for flood relief at least once every week. I think we also have a greater bond. It’s strange how we sometimes think the same things. Or how we do the same things without thinking. The strangest of all is how we realized that this is happening, and that you (dramatic pause) are the greatest grandma EVER! Love, Alexa *now much more than 15 grandchildren/great grandchildren* While your soul may be elsewhere, your love, words, and impact fiercely remain. Don’t be a stranger, and I’ll keep an eye out for some clovers if you feel like saying hello 🥰🍀💜
