When it comes to work, are you a collector, maker or a strategist? ♟️ For our latest project The Architecture of Work, creative director @alexander____may designed six modular officescapes with the USM Haller system. Each configuration represents a different way of working, thinking, and interacting with space: 1 ➡️ 3: The Collector 4 ➡️ 5: The Strategist 6: The Maker 7: The Observer 8 ➡️ 9: The Editor 10: The Archivist The officescape “The Collector” will be on view at the IRL-to-URL shopping experience @basic.space NY from November 14-16. Learn more about the project at the link in our bio. 🔗 #USMhaller #USMmodularfurniture #AlexanderMay #officescape

Taste is not only seen, it’s felt. Through material, proportion, light, and objects. When I set out to design @costabrazil new flagship at Hudson Yards, I wanted the space to feel immersive almost as though you’re stepping into someone’s home. I developed a modular architectural language that runs throughout the interior, creating a sense of continuity and restraint while still feeling warm and inviting. The visual palette for the project was inspired in part by a Richard Serra work from @costafrancisco personal collection, which is exhibited within the space. Alongside the interior, I also curated a selection of books and objects from his collection to help shape a more personal world around the brand one that feels lived in, layered, and deeply connected to @costabrazil . Very grateful for the collaboration and excited to watch the space continue to evolve over time. Photography by @bjornwallander

A new home for Costa Brazil in New York. Created to be felt with all your senses. Design by @alexander____may , with founder @costafrancisco the space brings together raw materiality, scent, sound, light, and collected objects into a quiet and tactile environment. Rather than a traditional retail store, the residency is conceived as a lived-in interior, shaped by ritual, atmosphere, and restraint. 20 Hudson Yards New York, New York Level 1, Suite 124 photos @bjornwallander

Honored to present NOTTE, a daybed I designed this year in collaboration with @nilufargallery On view as part of Nilufar Grand Hotel during #MDW2026 Curated by @ninayashar 20–26 April, Nilufar Depot NOTTE, approaches the daybed as a continuous sculptural plane low, elongated, and almost landscape-like in its on presences. Its form feels carved rather than assembled, shaped by shadow and stillness. ph. credits: @filippopincolini

As a designer, I’m drawn to materials with a fixed purpose. Steel deck built for staging, temporary architectural systems, and performance is something I’ve repeatedly recontextualized in my work. A surface for objects, a platform for resting.

Just over a year back in New York. My collaboration from this time in 2025 with @nordicknots at their New York flagship. Photography by @a_gaut . An early study in scale, softness, and structure.
