when it comes to your birthday, there’s always a little bit of sadness… “yaaah, Ayah makin tua,” wrinkles makin keliatan, uban makin banyak. but at the same time, I feel really grateful, bisa bareng terus ngeliat Ayah makin tua, ternyata not everyone gets a dad who’s this responsible, yang selalu ada, yang nemenin anaknya dari kecil sampai gede the way you do.
people out there might see you as the cool dad, yang gaul, banyak temen, di follow dian sastro😞, touring sana-sini. but for me, that’s not even the main thing. what really matters is that you’re a good person. you treat everyone kindly, mau yang di atas kita atau di bawah, always humble, yet firm, dan people respect you for that. you're smart, you have strong principles, and you always do whatever you can to make sure your kid grows up well.
ayah always tell me & ade, “jangan jadi kaya Ayah, kamu harus terbang lebih tinggi dan jadi matahari,” padahal to even be on your level aja udah susah. you're just that smart and capable. dari teteh kecil, whatever i wanted, you always tried your best buat wujudin semuanya. makasih ya udah selalu punya jawaban dari my random & oneng questions :p every complaint, Ayah selalu dengerin (kaya menghadapi dirinya sendiri) dan selalu ajarin kita buat selalu hidup bersyukur dan ngerasa cukup, that's what makes you so special.
semoga Ayah sehat selalu, panjang umur, so that every time teteh comes home, there’s still Ayah yang minta dipakein masker. even with more grey hair, more wrinkles, and maybe a bit more bawel, you’ll always be the coolest dad for me.

18.10 • i turned a year older and said yes to forever. surrounded by the people who mean the most, with laughter and happy tears all around, my heart felt so full. there was warmth, love, and peace that words can barely describe. i'll never forget how it felt to begin this new chapter, hand in hand with my best friend, on my birthday, surrounded by so much love ♥️

there we were, painting like pros with giggles, it started off so fun then suddenly… i broke my pottery :-) the girls screamed, then couldn’t stop laughing. guess i made the biggest splash of the day? ☺️💘
