A journey comes to an end, at least for now, one that I don’t even know how to describe. Brilliant Traces has become a part of me because I, first and foremost, found myself in this script. Bringing it before an audience always feels like revealing a part of myself, with all that that entails. And I couldn’t be happier or more fulfilled.
There are so many people to thank, but the first has to be
@anitisha , for believing in this madness from the very start and for being such an incredible partner. I honestly have no words to explain how proud I am to have had you (and I hope to have you still) by my side on stage. I’ve always told you, but I want it to be publicly known that I am, and always will be, your biggest fan.
Then
@jproductionsmilan , without whom none of this would have been possible. You believed in us without any real reason to, and you allowed us to live an unforgettable evening. Then
@justinbutchertheatre , who took what we had and reshaped it, elevating it to a level we couldn’t have imagined. Thank you for being our guide.
@_lendeer , the man to whom I would even trust my house keys. You have no idea how much comfort I felt knowing I could rely on you. Matthew for the help with lighting, and
@massimomarcer for accompanying our journey with your extraordinary music. If we reached the hearts of those watching, much of that is thanks to you as well.
@valentina_pescetto ,
@therickyitaliano , and
@factory32milano for welcoming us and supporting us, not just as a “theater organization” but also as friends.
Lastly, to everyone who came to see us and everyone who couldn’t make it—without you, we would have no purpose; without an audience, we would just be voices in the wind. Thank you all.
