What a weekend 🍷🏉✈️ Our competition winners James and Mat were flown to Adelaide for the ultimate AFL + wine escape with @claymore_wines — and it delivered from the moment they landed. After a classic South Australian welcome (hello, Villi’s pies 🥧), the boys headed straight to the Clare Valley to explore Shankly Vineyard alongside Claymore GM and local legend, Carissa Major, tasting back vintages and getting an exclusive look at what’s to come. From fresh 2026 Rieslings to a future red blend in the Boot Room Barrel Store, it was a true behind-the-scenes experience — barrels included. That night wrapped up with a private dinner at the Watervale Hotel, where owner Warwick shared stories and an unforgettable meal. Saturday kicked off early with the drive back to Adelaide, hotel check-in, a pre-game pub stop, and then into a fully catered corporate box at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. While the Bombers got up over the Demons (sorry James 😅), the atmosphere was unreal. Post-match wines, a free night exploring Adelaide, and (hopefully) fresh heads for the Sunday flight home to Melbourne. Huge thanks to everyone involved — and congratulations again to our lucky winners. 🥂
