Didn't get to draw as much as I wanted to this year. :[
I think I'm forcing my smile here a bit too much x') Bouncing back and finding my spark in what I love again after two long depressive years. Grateful for the people who checked in on me along the way. I haven't forgotten I have worried a lot of people over this summer. The best I could atone for it is to stick with healthy coping mechanisms and become the healthiest version I could be (I have for the past few months...so yay me 😭)
If you know anyone close who hasn't been active/present in a long while within your circle, please check-in on them. They might not have the strength to reach out and think they're alone in what they're going through. From a *personal* experience, be understanding if you don't get a response. Don't demand a connection either. Just let them know you're there whenever they're ready to speak. Keep checking on them time to time. A simple good morning or well wishes will help. After a while, offer up a talk, a treat or something. Just don't make them feel behind. Small steps. Especially if they don't have family.
