At the Trofeo Princesa Sofía — where Olympic classes like 470 — we caught up with our ambassador Alessandra Dubbini.
Together with helm Giacomo Ferrari, she closes the regatta in 5th overall, with a strong finish in a highly competitive fleet.

“Palma is always nice…” cit
It’s always been that regatta of highs and lows, maybe more lows than highs in my record.
The one you can’t wait for when you’re still sitting behind a school desk.
The one that often feels like the real “start button” of everything: first sun, first big reunion between those who already live this life and those chasing it. Palma is often more than just racing.
For us, this Palma was a solid result, but also a full rollercoaster. A bit of everything happened.
But being out there, fighting until the very end, being part of the game that’s the fuel behind all the unseen work.
This time, five minutes before the medal race, I cut my head because of a stupid mistake.
But in that moment, nothing was going to take away the chance to go racing. Pain didn’t even dare to knock.
P5 at Palma 2026 says a lot.
And finally, despite everything, this feels like a comeback Palma after the past ones.
Grateful.
