This week is a DOUBLE DOSE of announcements and we got another DOPE lineup of all local artists at @elysiangardensbirmingham on 4/24!! Couldn’t be more excited to welcome @aleatorien on their first Livest lineup as our headliners. One of the most unique acts in the Southeast. Aleatorien is an improvisational electronic project blending modern synthesizers, ambient sounds, and evolving rhythms into a FULLY-LIVE, fully improvisational, and fully ONE OF A KIND performance each time they hit the stage. Their sets are sonic journeys shaped in real time, never repeated, where sound is not only felt, but *discovered* Also stoked to have @solarhalomusic and @feddie.sound as direct support. Bringing their well known groovy, bouncy, emotional, and always on point vibes with live instrumentation. Setting us off will be a special @itsdjherbbbb set where he will bring elements of funk mixed with 90s hip hop for a unique set to set the vibe right. And, oh yeah, there will be CRAWFISH!! A powerhouse and tastemaker in the electronic music scene for over 25 years, Swytch brings his newest sound to the DJ format! Join us @woodlawntheatrebham for your chance to play on Murda One. Fat Stack Tuesday is an open deck/DJ community night held in Birmingham where participants can tests WIPs, mixes, and sets out on Murda One Sound (a high fidelity Sound System). Performers are placed in front of the Sound System so they are able to get an accurate representation of their mix. (6) 30 minute open deck slots, followed by a 1hr spotlight artist set, DM @slinger.ent to reserve a slot! The primary focus of Fat Stack Tuesday is growth and development of performance skills and community. Always free to play and attend, you’re bound to find your new favorite DJ, make new friends, or even find new collaborators for your own music adventure! All DJs are required to play on the XDJ XZ provided. (Serato and Rekordbox laptop compatible, download the XDJ XZ driver from pioneers website to use laptop with XDJ XZ) PLEASE use high fidelity files, ie: wav/flac/aiff DJ’s are allowed to perform every other Fat Stack to save spaces for new/other DJs NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED. It’s time to mix down the Friday and Saturday late night sets we did for @blackwatergathering - the audio in the video is the stereo 2track, but the multitrack is about to get the treatment. Thanks to @slinger.ent for the production, @xae_marquis and @theodore_gee for being the core + @taylorgoodwinmusic @solarhalomusic @cpazinets and @mosiisom1013 for making this such a killer 2 nights of live improv jams
