📣 Shoutout to Altadena Residents! 🐻🚫 Big thanks to everyone who took our advice and put up fencing and No Trespassing signs — we see you, and we appreciate you! 🙌 Unfortunately… the bears can't read. (We’re working on their literacy program, but it’s not going well.) So if your fence is now "bear-decorated" or your sign is being used as a back scratcher — just know: You did your part. The bears are just gonna bear. Stay safe, stay alert, and maybe don't leave snacks on the porch. 🧺🧸 #AltadenaLife #BearWithUs #BearsCantRead

When you and your coworker finally take that lunch break walk you’ve been talking about all week 😎 Altadena’s wild side never disappoints! Happy to see our wildlife thriving again.

Honored to be part of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Memorial Torch Run a powerful tradition that brings our community together in remembrance, respect, and service. Thank you @lasaa_lasd for all your hard work organizing this event. Today we ran not only to honor the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, but also to carry forward their legacy of courage, commitment, and dedication to protecting others. The torch symbolizes unity, strength, and the enduring bond shared by law enforcement and the communities we serve. Grateful to stand alongside so many deputies, officers, families, and supporters who continue to keep their memories alive. 💙🔥 #LASD #MemorialTorchRun #HonorTheFallen #LosAngelesCounty #LawEnforcement CommunityStrong NeverForget ServiceAndSacrifice

Today, we honor the hearts behind so many homes, families, and memories. Mothers are often the first to encourage us, support us, protect us, and remind us what unconditional love looks like. Today we celebrate every mom, grandma, aunt, and mother figure who continues to make a difference every single day. From your @aldlasd Altadena Station family — Happy Mother’s Day. 🌸 Take a moment to share this with your mom or someone who has been like a mother to you. Let them know they’re appreciated today and every day. 💙

In memory of Deputy Alfredo “Freddy” Flores EOW: April 20, 2024. On April 20, 2024, Deputy Alfredo Flores tragically passed away following a valiant fight for recovery from injuries sustained in the line of duty. Freddy graduated from academy class #327 and honorably served the residents of Los Angeles County for 22 years and will forever be remembered. He was assigned to several units during his tenure, including the North County Correctional Facility, Operations Safe Jails, Altadena Station, and, most recently, the Sylmar Juvenile Court at Court Services West Bureau. He made a unique contribution to all these assignments. Deputy Flores was not just a colleague but a beacon of strength, earning the respect of both his peers and the community he served. His sudden departure has left an immense void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Freddy is survived by his wife, children, and parents. Thank you for your service Sir 🕊️✝️ @aldlasd
