Is this the future of Studio and Cinema sound ?! I was lucky enough to attend a listening session with the new Alcon’s MR10 3 way reference monitor’s and the MR5 2 way reference monitor’s both featuring their 2” pro ribbon HF tweeter, with a 1:15 dynamic power handling ratio - meaning these have headroom for days they are powered by the Director 8-channel amplified loudspeaker controller listening to 192khz sources. Wow is all I can say…the precision, speed and crispy HF was a treat without forgetting the punchy LMF.
