🎶✨ From building his first guitar out of an oil can in Maputo 🇲🇿 to teaching and performing around the world, Albino Mbie is a true storyteller through sound.
Born and raised in Mozambique, Albino blends traditional rhythms like marrabenta with jazz, Afro-pop, and improvisation , a style he calls Moz-Jazz. A Berklee College of Music graduate and now professor, he has shared the stage with legends such as Wayne Shorter, Richard Bona, and Mulatu Astatke. His award-winning debut Mozambican Dance continues to inspire global audiences with its fusion of heritage and innovation. 🌍
