Exclusive sneak peek 👀☕️
Qahwah House is getting ready to open in Latham—and this one is going to be special.
They’ll be roasting premium organic coffee right on site (yes, you’ll literally smell it the second you walk in 🤤), plus they’re building out an outdoor patio for those warm weather coffee dates.
Already obsessed… and they’re not even open yet. Stay tuned!

Suwun Thai 🌶️ @suwunthaialbany
📍 Albany, NY
✨Part restaurant, part oasis. It was a wonderful experience at Suwun Thai. I’m not an expert in Thai cuisine but the staff was wonderful in explaining what certain things were and answering any questions I had. Our waitress also had the perfect mix of attentiveness and letting us enjoy our time which made for a very relaxing lunch.
✨The iced tea was sweet but with a nice warm spice. The dumplings were packed with filling. The noodles for the pad Thai were light and not greasy. I’ve had pad Thai other places that came in a pool of grease. My husband said the beef in his meal was very tender and well seasoned.
I would gladly make the drive here again and again. BONUS- there’s a parking lot in the back! 👏🏻
What we ordered:
🍹Thai Iced Tea
🥥Coconut Mojito
🥟 Kha Nom Jeeb Dumplings
🥩 Grilled Beef w/ spicy basil fried rice
🌽 Taro and Corn Fritters
🥢Bangkok Pad Thai w/ Chicken
🥭Mango Sticky Rice

Miranda’s Deli has had my heart for years and somehow it just keeps getting better every time I go. From the kindest family + staff to a menu where you truly can’t go wrong…this place just hits.
What I ordered:
🥖 Italian Stallion (THE Italian sub)
🥪 The Gabriella (chicken cutlet, pesto, fresh mozz 🤤)
🥗 Buffalo chicken salad (I’m obsessed)
🍲 Chicken soup (one of the best I’ve ever had)
🍝 Meatballs + pasta (come hungry…or bring backup)
🍕 Fresh pies daily—don’t skip the slice!
Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first visit, trust me…you’ll be thinking about your next order before you even leave.

Head Space in Latham just opened a second head spa treatment room and I totally get why. This is hands down one of the most relaxing experiences you can treat yourself to. From start to finish, it’s the kind of pampering you didn’t know you needed… but now won’t stop thinking about.

Capital Region! Join us on Saturday May 9 and Sunday May 10th in Washington Park for the 78th annual Tulip Festival, presented by KeyBank
The Tulip Festival is Albany’s signature spring event, featuring annual traditions rooted in the City’s rich Dutch heritage. The event includes more than 200+ vendors selling handmade crafts, food and art, a Kid Zone family destination presented by Price Chopper Supermarkets, four live entertainment stages and a newly expanded wellness area featuring 20+ vendors, free classes, and workshops. Visitors can experience more than 100,000 tulips in bloom throughout historic Washington Park, the 81-acre “crown jewel” of Albany.
