Honored and excited to be selected from 2,500 applicants to showcase my artwork, “The Unspoken Weight,” in The Sussex Contemporary exhibition. Grateful for this opportunity to share my voice.
Title: The Unspoken weight. Latex and acrylic, 4 metre X 3 metres. A quiet anatomy of survival, inner skin bearing unseen scars, where physical wounds fade but emotional impressions linger, heavy with memory, resilience, and the silent burden of endurance.
Back making stained Glass, I was privileged to be taught by a wonderful man who had 50 years under his belt in this craft. It’s so therapeutic and meditative.
While travelling through France, the unimaginable sight of the Aude Region burnt to the ground, this is incredibly sad to see, but with also exquisite beauty, this landscape screams Anselm Kiefer with his enchanting paintings.
