Introducing the Ford Escort Alan Mann 68 Edition.
The 68 Edition continues a racing story that began in 1968 - when Ford and Alan Mann Racing developed an Escort for Group 5 competition use that would dominate the British Saloon Car Championship and redefine the limits of saloon car competition.
This continuation model extends that legacy. Just like the original, each car is a genuine Ford Escort, engineered by DRVN and assembled by Alan Mann Racing. Developed from the exact geometry of the championship-winning car, with a featherlight chassis and GT40-derived suspension, it’s the next in a championship-winning lineage - built by the team that created it.
Limited to just 24 precisely crafted examples.

Alan Mann Racing, the iconic British racing team renowned for its racing pedigree, joins Boreham Motorworks as the in-house high-performance division.
Marking an exciting new chapter for the historic racing brand in their 60th year, Alan Mann Racing aim to preserve the spirit of high-performance excellence while pushing forward Boreham Motorworks’ automotive road and race development in an official partnership with Ford Motor Company.
The first product from Alan Mann Racing and Boreham Motorworks will be announced and revealed in early 2025.
In the meantime, we’ll be sharing interviews with racing icons including Sir Jackie Stewart, Peter Procter, Roy Pierpoint and former AMR team members, who will explain made Alan Mann Racing the motorsport tour de force it was, with exclusive footage from our most iconic on and off-track moments over the last six decades.

You, a ‘65 Mustang, and the open road. Does it get better than that?!
Whether it’s for the road or for the track, Alan Mann Racing has been renowned for its service, restoration and race preparation for over 60 years.
Alan Mann Racing gave the Ford Mustang its first ever motorsport victory - winning the Touring Class in the 1964 Tour de France Automobile: a 10-day, 4000-mile motorsport spectacle. Peter, alongside Andrew Cowan, drove one of three Alan Mann Racing entered Mustangs (DPK 7B) to that historic win.

In 1966, a pair of special lightweight GT40s made their debut at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
These cars were the result of team owner Alan Mann being tasked by Ford to create an improved version of the GT40. The Alan Mann cars featured aluminum bodies, crossover fuel systems, and modified suspension geometry. The result was a lightweight small-block car that could compete with the big-block cars.
At Sebring, they qualified 3rd and 7th on the grid with the next 289 car down in 13th. Mechanical issues during the race ultimately prevented both cars from reaching the finish.
