While @alanhatherly was clearly in control up front, the fight behind him was anything but settled.
The battle to round off the podium at the 2026 Big 5 was tight from the first major climb. Small gaps opened, closed, and opened again.
The field over the long climbs thinned the field, but it was on the technical sections where positions really shifted.
The top five positions were hard earned.

Backing up his win at the very same event last year, Alan once again put in a dominant performance to take the victory at the 2026 edition of the @attakwasmtb 🥇
On board the all-new Anthem, Alan set a new record on the 121km course, 21 mins faster than the previous record set back in 2021 💨
