China’s magical ancient village 🌿🧚🏽🫶🏽✨
Just a 30-minute train journey from Zhangjiajie is this beautiful town called Furong Ancient Town — and it’s honestly one of the most magical places I’ve visited in China 🏞️✨
While it is a tourist spot, it felt super peaceful when we were there. The entire village is built around a massive waterfall, with traditional wooden houses surrounding it. We decided to stay overnight to really take in the charm both during the day and at night, however if you are short on time you can definitely go for a few hours ✨
🚄 How to get there: A quick 25–30 minute high-speed train ride from Zhangjiajie West Station to Furongzhen Station, then just a 15-minute taxi to the town center.

‼️most countries need a visa to enter, you can do this on arrival or apply prior to your trip
💸always carry some cash on you, in the more remote parts you might have to use cash to pay/ some homestays will ask you to pay in cash
🛺if you’re a confident driver ~ hiring a tuk tuk feom @tuktukrental is a must! Honestly this was one of the best experiences ever ~ you’ll be added to a community where you can all help each other out with recommendations, routes, other questions etc.

🌞 generally the best time to visit is between December and April
🚝 if you’re travelling in high season and want to do the scenic train ride between Kandy and Ella, you’ll need to book your ticket on 12go Asia atleast a month in advance
🌴 Take your time to travel this country, it is soo diverse and there is so much to do!

Japan has been on my bucket list for the longest time so I’m super excited to be exploring and eating everything in sight 😂🤤
Tokyo is first up on this Japan trip and I’m truly obsessed with this city already! It’s definitely super busy but I think it adds to the whole experience! I can already tell this is a place I’ll have to keep coming back to as there is literally an endless amount of things to do🤩

The whole stay had such an easy pace to it. Mornings by the water, afternoons between the beach and pool, little cocktail stops throughout the day, and evenings spent over dinner, live music and warm Caribbean air.

Angkor Wat at sunrise 🌅🇰🇭
I’d heard so much about this place before visiting, but seeing it in real life felt completely different.
We arrived just before sunrise and slowly watched the sky light up behind the temple — it’s one of the most popular times to visit, so it does get busy, but it still felt surprisingly calm. Everyone just stands quietly, taking it all in.
If you’re visiting Siem Reap, I do think it’s worth the early start ✨
