What a night..
I have to admit I was super stressed before going on stage.. Even after all these years, even 25 years after Intro, that feeling never really goes away…
But from the very first minutes, all that pressure turned into energy thanks to you. Seeing the @rexclub completely packed, feeling so much love around a track that’s been with us for so long… it was truly special.
Thank you all for being there to celebrate this with us.
This is one we won’t forget ❤️

Paris, 2013. Social Club.
My label Vulture had a residency there for a while, nights that built their own rhythm over time.
On stage, my dear cousin @iamdjfalcon alongside @tensnake .
In the room, a warm, responsive crowd.
Things unfolded on their own, one moment carrying the next, rising each time into a shared high, like a party among friends.
I’ll come back to this period properly, especially with Vulture turning 25.
For now, it continues next week April 9th at @rexclub Paris

25 ans d’histoire.
Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon are pioneers of the French Touch movement and, as Braxe + Falcon, they’re set to deliver a live show at the Bugged Out Weekender that is guaranteed to go. right. off. - as they used to say back in their early-’00s heyday.
Although they first made their mark collaborating with fellow Parisians around 2000 - Falcon with his Roulé label boss Thomas Bangalter, and Braxe alongside Fred Falke - the duo officially united under one banner in 2024, signing to Domino Records. Check out one of their ace latest releases, ‘UFO’ under the name UFOs with the chap from Phoenix.
Their live set will showcase recent Domino material, peppered with the timeless classics that cemented their legacy. Two of those tracks practically defined the sound of Ibiza’s Space Terrace in the summer of 2000.
First up is ‘Together’ by Together. Falcon and Bangalter, born just a day apart, recorded the track in the day between their birthdays. Lifting the word “together” from two separate 1988 pop-soul records and pairing it with a towering riff inspired by the guitar line from the Beverly Hills, 90210 theme tune, they created a track that locks into a hypnotic groove and drives forward relentlessly, repeating until a higher state of consciousness - or delirium - is reached across seven euphoric minutes.
Then there’s Alan Braxe & Fred Falke’s ‘Intro’ (often mistakenly referred to by its flip-side title, ‘Running’). Built around the instantly recognisable vocal bridge from The Jets’ electro-soul smash ‘Crush On You’, the formula is deceptively simple yet devastatingly effective: soaring Jets vocals + monstrous French Touch bassline + crisp, unmistakable drum pattern = very happy customers.
Weekender Fact: DJ Falcon played the Weekender back in 2000. We even had a skate ramp on site. He brought his skateboard with him - and as far as we recall, he was the only person all weekend to actually use it. Certainly the only French one.
