Scene & Heard returned to Alamo City Studios with another powerful night of creativity, collaboration, and community. Hosted by Robert Laurence and Prisca with Beyond The Canvas Productions, the event brought together writers, actors, filmmakers, and emerging storytellers from across San Antonio for an evening of script exploration, scene work, and hands‑on learning.
The room stayed energized from start to finish as participants broke down scenes, shared their work, practiced performances, and supported one another’s growth. Whether attendees came to read, act, observe, or network, everyone contributed to the creative momentum that makes Scene & Heard such a vital space for local artists.
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, asked questions, took risks, and poured into the community. Your presence is what keeps this event alive and evolving. Every script read, every scene performed, and every conversation sparked helps strengthen San Antonio’s creative ecosystem.
We appreciate Alamo City Studios for opening their doors and continuing to support grassroots film and storytelling spaces. And to all the new faces and returning creatives — thank you for choosing to grow with us.

Volume 13 member Reema Shroff is the founder behind @frost321_ , the San Antonio-based concept turning desserts and cocktails into an experience people never forget.
The idea was born during a trip to Paris, when Reema first experienced liquid nitrogen ice cream and cocktails at a wedding and immediately became fascinated by the process. By the time her flight landed back home, the vision for Frost 321 was already taking shape.
Named after the freezing temperature of liquid nitrogen at -321 degrees Fahrenheit, Frost 321 creates chef-designed ice creams, sorbets, and frozen cocktails right before your eyes. The result is equal parts science, theater, and seriously good dessert.
From weddings and corporate events to conventions and private parties all across the country, Frost 321 has become known for creating interactive moments that bring people together and leave a lasting impression long after the last scoop.

If you discovered our film and you’re in a different part of the world, don’t worry. It’s our goal to get this film in front of as many people as possible. From film festivals to local screenings in other cities / countries. We’re building momentum for this little film and I couldn’t be more thankful to those that express interest every single day.
