The Black Sx Worker Collective Marks 8 Years with International Conference in Berlin
“This Bridge Called Our Backs” brings together global and local voices centering Black Sx Workers, migrants, and LGBTQI+ communities
Berlin, Germany & Online (EST) —
Recognizing, honoring, and highlighting the contributions of Women, Black Sx Workers, migrants, and LGBTQI+ communities, The Incredible, Edible, Akynos states, “Black Sx Workers, migrants, and Black people have been shaping culture, building communities, and carrying the weight of sustaining our existence through tumultuous regimes, capitalism, and patriarchy, on our literal and figurative backs!”
To commemorate 8 years of Black Sx Worker organizing, the Black Sx Worker Collective (BSWC) presents its annual conference, “This Bridge Called Our Backs,” a nod to the Black woman anthology This Bridge Called My Back. The conference bridges the villainous energy of last year with this year’s organizational theme of building bridges.
This year’s conference lineup is practically villainous, welcoming virtual keynote speaker Sinnamon Love, an icon in adult entertainment and director of a BIPOC collective from BSWC headquarters in New York City. Alongside pre-recorded sessions from 2025, attendees can participate in in-person sessions and workshops led by local community artists and leaders, including Marbeliete, Godxxx Noirphiles, Magdaline Lipesa, Dr. Frida Arrey, and other guest speakers addressing social, economic, and legislative issues affecting Sx Workers and marginalized communities in 2026. All in-person sessions will take place at the historic Ashawo Café in Berlin, Wedding.

As I stated previously, I'd gone about sharing my unpacking of this dis-ease called males in the wrong way. I'll share everything here. Personal rants, no matter hpw raw. To clear investigations into the problem that is males who refuse to seek the adequate care so they can finally love themselves.

I am tired in Black Herstory month. To say I am shocked and appalled would be inaccurate. I'm more tired of experiencing the confirmations that no matter how much you laugh at, complain about, critique the very systems that continue to oppress, lie and steal. You will ALWAYS open your wallets to it. SMDH I will only further elaborate if I have time to unraveling with historical context and proof, how absolutely unsupported BW are. From Fannie Lou Hammer to Pat McGrath. Sure there are examples of success. But that will always exist among the overwhelming majority trying to keep our heads above water.
Anyway, thank you to @godxnoirphiles for the hair save this weekend. Thank you to the bodies thst show up and give back like @h_gavin and @dvolp5 YAWL ARE GEMS! And to everyone who i can't possibly name in this vague axx post. LOL
