This is how we started the day today! We then went to get my windshield fixed but they said it was a surface blemish, so couldn't fill and then took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and transmission flush. Now we're getting ready to go watch Hibiscus Bones, Rey Markable, Candice Marie and Justin Grote at Hamburger Mary's Kansas City! Come join us if you need a drink or a break from reality for a bit!

Last night was unforgettable. Watching my kid take the stage in their drag competition and make it all the way to the top two filled me with more pride than I can even put into words. The talent, confidence, creativity, and heart they brought to that stage were absolutely incredible.
While they didn’t take home the top title, they gave a performance that truly won in every way that matters. I couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and passion they continue to show.
A huge thank you to all of their friends, my friends and coworkers, teachers, their drag family, and supporters who showed up, cheered them on, and sent love and encouragement—you made such a difference. It takes a community to lift someone up like that, and we felt it every step of the way.
