Happy birthday Appa 🥰🫶🏻
Looking back at this snippet from 5 years ago at Thennangur. Performing this violin trio with Appa and Anna, with @gururaghavendra_palayamkottai Anna on Mridangam, reminds me how lucky I am to have your support in everything I do. 🎻🎶#dadbirthday #carnaticmusic #violin

I had a great time recording for All India Radio, Chennai after a long gap with Vidwans @akriz23 and Mannarkoil Balaji anna! I have performed so many concerts with Balaji anna and Ananthu between 2004-2017.
Ananthu and I first performed together at @krishnaganasabha in 2004 for their Gokulashtami festival. We had both our grandfathers present at the concert along with several other senior Vidwans and Sri Yagnaraman mama. This concert professionally helped me get a lot of visibility and concert opportunities!
It was a nostalgic trip for both of us going back in time while we randomly spoke about those “goood old days”, the song list and Korvais we played in that concert!
We presented Poorvikalyani as the main ragam in the concert in 2004 and ragam Gaangeyabhooshani for this AIR concert. Quite a musical leap! 😎
Happy to share the picture from the concert in 2004 at KGS and the one after our recording!
Do catch this trio’s concert in AIR on the 10th March at 9.00am :)

What an incredible ambience and energy when every seat in the hall is filled! As a performer, there’s truly nothing more special than that feeling—the connection with the audience, the excitement, and the shared anticipation for what’s to come. It’s the perfect way to kick off the December Season, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start.
Thank you, Bhavan. Thank you, Mylapore. Thank you, Chennai, for your warmth, your support, and the unforgettable atmosphere you create here every time. This was unforgettable ❤️
