My fourth album, 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒂 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, is out now. 🔥 This album is a culmination of two years of writing, recording and dedication to the craft. I owe a huge amount of gratitude to Jared Corder for seeing my vision and helping me create an incredible synergy to bring this record to life. Jared saw something in all of these songs (some that surprised me from my cache of bits and bobs), and I think we knocked all of them out of the park. He pushed me creatively and challenged the mythos and bullshit holding me back. These songs are deeper, bolder and more expansive than anything I’ve created as Safari Room yet. Thank you to Kristofer Jedd for assisting in the magic, making sessions feel flawless and helping the creativity flow. Gratitude to Dan Oliver and Chelsea Rochelle for putting a face and image to this album. And thank you to Preston Cochran for the infallible lacquer as always. I hope this album speaks to you in the season of life you’re in. This record is about perserverence and hoping for better days. It’s about burnout and toeing the line of tireless ambition and rest. These songs were written in a chapter of my life where was learning to accept myself, be self-compassionate and continue on a path that is non-linear. May it resonate with you and give you some warmth on your own journey.

I’ve working insanely hard over the last couple years, honing my songwriting and craft. I think this is the best yet. Please give the new @safari_room ep, How to Keep a Fire Burning, a spin. It’s been really tough somedays, but it’s always worth it. The music industry is fickle, and every artist is vying for attention, same as dogs doing backflips and vapid influencers. Claire got married! 💍 I didn’t get a selfie with the happy couple, but the day was beautiful and magical and so special. Was wonderful to spend time with family and celebrate with those near and dear. Congrats to Alex and Claire! Here’s to many years of happiness ahead! Proud brother. 💟
