I, Pharm. (Mrs.) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, deeply sympathise with the family of Alhaji Abiodun Abdullateef Ayilara on the painful passing unto glory of our beloved father, leader, grandfather, mentor, community pillar, and foremost two-term Councillor of Ward M (Old Ikeja Local Council), Leader of Agbado Oke-Odo G14 and Oke-Odo Ward B.
Alhaji Abiodun Abdullateef Ayilara was a highly respected elder statesman whose life was dedicated to the service of humanity, community development, grassroots politics, and the upliftment of the people around him.
His wisdom, leadership, humility, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Agbado-Oke-Odo and its environs earned him the admiration and respect of many across generations.
He departed this life this afternoon at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of selfless service, integrity, and impactful leadership that will continue to inspire many within and beyond the community.
As we mourn this irreparable loss, we pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him eternal rest, and admits him into Aljanah Firdaus.
May Allah also grant the entire Ayilara family, political associates, friends, and loved ones the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
