It was awesome to revisit Lara Jean’s story and giving it new life! Based on the beloved novel by @jennyhan ‘s with characters reimagined by @lulu_li.art , adapted by @mustachebabs and illustrated by yours truly. A little behind the scenes from “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” Graphic Novel 💌 Big projects like this are never a solo thing…that’s what makes them so special. While the story was originally adapted by Veronique Grisseaux (French) and later by Barbara Pérez Márquez (English) , on the visual front I had the chance to blend my style with @lulu_li.art ‘s beautiful character designs, figuring out how to translate them into a full graphic novel while keeping their charm intact. I have to give a special spotlight to @ao.clover who was the colorist for this first issue. Her colors brought everything to life in the most stunning way adding depth, mood, and that extra magic that makes each page feel complete ✨ And of course, huge thanks to , @karin_ag , @hitsuji.02 , @purishiraart and @silice.b for their support throughout the process. You helped keep this whole thing moving and made it possible to hit the finish line. 🥹 Making comics at this scale really is about trust, teamwork, and a shared love for storytelling 💖 so thanks!!
