(reposting to fiber friends!) Afflamed maple, not flame maple š I love it. It's essentially got the same finish as a normal Kate, now that we've buffed it out and spray finished on top of the burnt surface. But it's definitely not normal. Hat tip to Ed, the craftsperson who was with us for so many years, and who always always wanted to try this approach on our products. This feels like a great example of a look that is not for everyoneā¦ But for some people it might really light their fire! Which are you?

FAILURE! Which is a good thing: when you launch a product that works great in 90+% of scenariosā¦ itās up to customers to find the bummers. Our testers have risen to the role, however, and found those bummers early š Theyāve really done an awesome job- check out the chat in our Ravelry group if you havenāt yet.
