Carsten Höller’s new restaurant, Brutalisten (@brutalisten ), is now open in Stockholm. This is the latest embodiment of his long-term culinary and artistic project labeled the Brutalist kitchen.

The Itamaraty Palace is the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. It is located in the national capital of Brasília. The building was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated on April 21, 1970.

Snowcrash office 2002 by Tham & Videgård Arkitekter. Snowcrash was the name of a Finnish design collective established on an idea laboratory for future-oriented design which was later transformed into a Swedish design company. The collection, which was established over the course of 1997 to 2003, is being exhibited at Nationalmuseum for the first time, May 4, 2021–February 13, 2022.

Dystopian though it appears from afar, the house is a stellar example of what the architectural historian Bernard Rudofsky called “architecture without architects”, having been designed with its location in mind rather than architectural convention. A shallow concrete box hoisted to a height at which it seems set to glide into the Atlantic, the structure is equipped to survive scorching storm, rainy seasons, and anything else the Ghanaian climate subjects it to - while allowing its occupants to enjoy the dazzling views from the cliffs and across the water.
Ralph Erskine (2): Villa Engström, weekendhouse Lisö 1955-56. This weekend cottage to the south of Stockholm was designed in close collaboration with the client, who owned an engineering workshop, in which the sheet steel segments of the dome were fabricated. The interior has two storeys, with bedrooms on the upper one surrounding an open hall. The house is well looked after and has remained virtually unaltered since its completion.
