Here, at this spa, the experience unfolds as a sequence of thoughtfully composed spaces, each designed to slow the pace and heighten the senses. From a gentle arrival that establishes a grounded first impression to therapy rooms that invite stillness and introspection, every transition is intentional. Arched thresholds, tactile surfaces, and softened light guide movement through the space, shaping moments that feel immersive, intimate, and restorative. Together, these spaces move beyond function, forming a layered journey of pause, balance, and renewal. This project began with understanding the charpai as a system rather than just an object. The process moved through sketches, material exploration, prototyping, and spatial planning to study its structure, proportions, and adaptability. Each stage helped translate the logic of the charpai into a larger installation, while retaining its core qualities of simplicity, lightness, and functionality.—————— The Charpai Project Curator - @ayushkasliwal @akfd_studio Co - curator - @ramayudh Exhibited @serendipityartsfestival

At the Serendipity Arts Festival, the charpai was explored as a spatial system rather than a single object. By combining multiple units, the installation created a structure that people could sit on, move through, and interact with. —————— The Charpai Project Curator - @ayushkasliwal @akfd_studio Co - curator - @ramayudh Exhibited @serendipityartsfestival

The charpai does not try to stand out. Yet it becomes the centre of everyday life. Light enough to move, simple enough to belong anywhere. —————— The Charpai Project Curator - @ayushkasliwal @akfd_studio Co - curator - @ramayudh Exhibited at @indiaartfair 2026

The space finds its centre in a singular gesture. The chandelier emerges as both anchor and expression, bringing together light, colour and craft to define the experience. What begins as a study of form evolves into a layered installation, translating material and detail into a luminous presence. From concept to realisation, it holds the space together while guiding movement and attention. Surrounding elements respond to this centre, creating a setting where objects are framed within a larger composition. At Jay Rawat, the showroom is envisioned as an immersive retail environment where jewellery is experienced through colour, pattern and spatial rhythm. Drawing from cultural memory and reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens, the space brings together craft, material and form to create a distinctive and engaging experience. Moving away from traditional linear displays, the design introduces vignette style settings that allow each piece to be experienced in its own moment. Mirrors enhance depth and openness, while colour wraps across surfaces to visually expand the space and create a sense of continuity. At @narendra.bhawan.bikaner with @akfd_studio — capturing The Aviary as it was meant to be experienced. The Aviary unfolds like a quiet pause within the property… a garden café nestled among trees, softened by dappled light and shaded canopies. We approached this shoot as an experience, not just a space — waiting for the light to filter just right, styling frames that felt effortless yet intentional, and capturing the ease, warmth, and rhythm the Aviary naturally holds. More than documenting design, this was about preserving a feeling — calm, open, and beautifully lived-in.
