As we celebrate Women’s History Month, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Zeta Delta Omega Chapter and the Sisterly Relations Committee visited the Reservation to support the Lady Braves as they head to Atlanta as the #2 Seed in the 2026 SWAC Basketball Tournament. 💜💛
We shared words of encouragement, prayer, and presented a donation of water, Gatorade, and snacks for the team.
We also honored legendary former Head Girls Basketball Coach Shirley Walker for the foundation and legacy she created at Alcorn State.

Today, for AKA International Worship Sunday, the ladies of Zeta Delta Omega Chapter joined together in worship at Christian Hope Baptist Church under the devine leadership of Rev. Dr. John Scott, Jr., as we began our “Season of Gratitude.”
The inspiring message, “Always Give Thanks to the Lord,” reminded us that gratitude is the key to joy — for life, love, sisterhood, and God’s daily grace.

Members of the Zeta Delta Omega Chapter were on a mission upon arriving at the D&J Youth Group Center. Since adopting the center in 2014, the chapter has continued to provide ongoing support, service, celebration, and assistance in a variety of areas.
This year, the chapter donated 30 Power Packs (AKA CHIPP), school supplies, and a $500 monetary contribution. Through these efforts, Zeta Delta Omega remains committed to addressing child hunger, supporting mental well-being, and promoting youth development, leadership, skill-building, and self-esteem. #AKA1908#SoaringWithAKA 🩷💚
