Bummer. My sweet boy. After 16 wonderful years of a charmed life we finally had to make the impossibly difficult decision to say goodbye. He was ready, we were not. Everyone said you'll know when it's time and it's true. You do. It doesn't make it any easier. Been trying to prepare for this for a long time but it's simply not possible. He was the best friend, fishing partner, big brother, snuggle bud, road dog, trail dog, river dog, the list goes on. He went everywhere. He kept my dad young walking miles daily. Visited more states than most people. Lived on both sides of this country and saw a lot in between. He was perfect throughout all of it. Never lost his appetite. At times it really felt like he'd just live forever but dogs teach us how to let go. He touched countless hearts and brought smiles to so many faces. We're gonna miss you forever my little Bum Bum bud. Thank you for everything. Rest easy, I'll see you around. #Bummerdog 🤍🤎 @mothersludger1348
