If we no water us well,
we no go grow.
Then, together we’ll go where we think will grow us. Or, we’ll go our separate ways looking for growth.
We blame us, our homes, our parents, ancestors, and we see everything us as bad.
We will do everything they want to be them, water theirs to be accepted and having a belonging, we will see theirs as how ours is suppose to be.
We will say that we are who we say we are,
But we won’t be who we appear to be, we will become who they want us to be.
With time, we will realise we are looking for ourselves, we will wish we were together, we will wish we had watered ours to grow.
If we start watering us now
Now that we are alive
