“Psydeye” records just landed. There’s a noticeable increase in quality since switching my manufacturer. Wasn’t intentional but that’s the silver lining in a gloomy cloud of tariffs.
Limited amount left get them while they’re here
Bringing 5 of them to the show tonight.
Thank you for the support

How fortunate am I that I get to depart from what’s expected and make a project like this? Very.
Can’t be pigeonholed into one lane because I’m great at approximately everything. This can be competitive sport for some people but you have to ignore the comparison traps. Some might think they can rap better than me, fine. Can you do that and make beats like this at the same time? If so, can you also film and edit the video too? If so can you put it on wax and mail it directly to everybody after? The answer is no. All across the board.
Before I return to form in a couple months (70% done) give “Psydeye” a couple of rotations digitally and then physically on your vinyl playing apparatus. Thank you to those that stuck w me past, present and future. I’m still learning more everyday. I promise you
“Psydeye” Tuesday 2/3
Self-produced, no samples, no features.
Dropping a week early, Tuesday 1/27, for the true supporters and collectors. Vinyl preorders limited to 100 on @knowhatimeaninc
Slow cooked in the background over the last 2 or so years. I started this process parallel to working on “Opta Mystic”. I had just gotten back from EU and bought a new keyboard.
Went back into the trenches of chords and theory. Hip hop will always be the foundation, but how does that sound mixed with my influences from synth gods past and present? Cooked up some new methods to make the digital sound dusty, but a good magician can’t reveal the tricks.
Shoutouts to Burial, SALEM, all my fav shoegaze bands, n8noface, Dev Hynes and the list goes on.
Stay tuned and thanks for the continued support, Knowhatimean.
