GRADUATED WITH GOD 👨‍🎓🎉 Joined Uni without God as an atheist -> Leaving with a new heart and salvation. It’s a testament to the journey God is bringing me on. How can I say thanks? How do I know that it was His plan and not mine? Bible says Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) I didn’t intend to do 4 years for my degree at uni I wanted to do the minimum 3. Once I trusted and allowed Him to take the pen and change my stubborn heart, it eventually allowed me to understand that He had it figured out all along. I would have given up a long while ago if I had not opened up to Him, that’s why I know He turned up at the right time in my life at Uni. The most broken I had ever been was during my studies. I had depression, social anxiety and very negative thoughts about myself, others and just life. If I never gave Him a chance I wouldn’t have seen this day, but by his grace and mercy something in my heart wanted to and I chose that. He’s closer to you than you think. It may sound like a fairytale to you but this was my personal experience nobody can convince me that God isn’t real. I thank Him for turning my life around and for the gift of a new heart and a relationship with Him. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. I’m officially on a magazine and it’s OUT NOW!! 🥳📖 Thank you @holiday___club @bisoyebabalola @datbarbernat @scoutsara @jez.rivera for your trust and belief in me! 🙌 You’re probably wondering why me, how and when did all this happen? An opportunity came through an Instagram post in August from @offspringhq where they wanted young people within the community to have the chance to take part in a summer programme with @holiday___club which involved weekly workshops learning about different skills and insights towards the creative industry with mentors who were industry specialists. Remembering the time applying for this, I was initially planning to go on holiday to Italy which would have made me unavailable to be involved with the magazine but I decided to just apply and wait until I hear back as I felt I literally had nothing to lose which has been a big blessing as we’re now here talking about me and my name on a magazine featuring the likes of @casablancabrand @elgarjohnson @theflagtwins @m1onthebeatofficial and it’s only the beginning for both myself and @holiday___club Just to note: I was the only guy who chosen to represent the team and community @offspringhq so this one’s special to me 🙌 To everyone I’ve met and crossed paths with through this entire program I’m grateful and wanted to say thank you for your efforts and support it’s been an honour to work with you and be able to learn from you all. The lessons I’ve learnt, the vision, the attitude and knowledge I’ve attained is endless and the opportunities I’ve received from @holiday___club is something I would’ve never expected and imagined before coming in to the creative space. It’s mysterious how God sometimes works with situations in your life and it doesn’t always make sense at the time, but there will be a time where you understand and that’s the time where we have to thank him so I truly thank God for this opportunity and the success of this project and future works I will be involved in the Glory belongs to him always!
