Dead Orbit // saint studios Story - What began as a controlled gravity experiment, a closed system designed to prove stability over time until the numbers slipped and the station began to fall, slowly at first, then with inevitability as systems corrected in the wrong direction and signals looped back without ever escaping, leaving him alone inside a structure that refused to fail, its geometry holding under pressures it was never meant to endure, and as the last of the data turned meaningless he stopped trying to fix it and simply recorded the descent, noting that the station was no longer sustaining trajectory but collapsing into... dead orbit. Really fun project, designing a spacecraft and working around different circumstances. So many more diagrams and drawings I could have done and did start working on, but ultimately, these were my favourites. Took a lot of inspiration from Project Hail Mary and the concept art from that film, trying to blend architecture, visual art and world-building in one platform is the ultimate goal of saint studios. I want to grow my platform to show that architecture can be fun and can be more than confined perimeter design. By Adam Saint #archisource #archi #scifi #scifiart #projecthailmary

The Rat Race story | 2094, the world was on the brink of collapse after the nuclear war, deserts and dry lands engulfed most of the earths surface, service bots scanning for signs of life, but no one knew why. One day, a bot discovered a stronghold, salvaged, decaying in the sand winds, the turbine engine roaring constantly, but no one could be seen, just a structure churning itself to death, or so we thought. There was an occupant, a solo survivor, mining coal and oil to keep the engine alive. The turbine purified the air around it, providing refuge for the isolationist. It turned off.. they die. Constantly, day and night, storm and calm, they had to keep the engine alive, no direction, no other purpose of survival, just waiting for their bones to break and legs to give out. The Rat Race had begun. So caught up in the darkness, they forgot the reason they were living.. But they never stopped.. Had some fun with this one, some different style visuals than the normal stuff, really enjoying this series of drawings, excited for my masters at UCL! saint studios | by Adam Saint

The Long Dark 002 of the Solitary Structure Series The cell tower, once a blinking warning for aircraft, was converted into a watchpoint for a lone researcher, a temporary post meant to outlast the winter and nothing more, yet winter arrived and refused to move on, collapsing day into a single, endless dusk where darkness became a physical weight. As weeks passed, the watchman began to sense presences in the snowfields below, not seen or heard, but felt, as if the land itself were looking up at him. When a violent snowstorm finally struck, the tower shuddered and swayed, and he triggered the alarms in panic, sirens screaming into the storm, but no one came, the sound fading into the dark, leaving him suspended above the world, alone, held fast in the long dark. Created using rhino3D, Blender and Photoshop. [Reflection] Definitely my favourite rendering work I’ve done to date, I’ve discovered a real love for framing the architecture I design in ‘movie’ or ‘cinematic’ settings to allow the user to create their own frame for what it’s used for. The Tea Room. 001 of the Solitary Structure Series [Story] In the darkest corner of the Bayou, locals say the tea room was built sometime in the late 1800s by an old fisherman, who came to the south after loosing his family in a flood upriver. He built his new home so high on stilts it almost looked like it was floating. He lived alone and isolated for years, people passing would see him with lanterns burning late into the early hours always facing out to the water. After a flash storm people went to check on the man but the house was empty. Only his boat with drifting oars could be found tangled in the moss. Some locals claim to still see lanterns lighting the black water if ever a storm occurs. The house stands, rotting, half sunk, and untouched. [Reflection] First personal works since graduating, working in practice takes up a lot of time and creative energy but it’s well worth it, my time at JFA has been so rewarding and I can’t wait to share the projects that I’ve been a part of. I still love exploring my own dealing expression which is growing and developing constantly, this is a short story I wrote and designed an architectural concept around it, let me know what you think! More coming soon.

Understanding the other Perspective, The Deers Eye. Building Harmonious spaces for humans & animals to co-exist means also understanding how animals view and experience the architectural forms. I achieved this by researching and interpreting the perspective of the deers eye. To gauge their colour views and wider field of vision. Saint Studios 2025.

The Subterranean Archive. The Metamorphic Ruins Final drawing series. As the final drawing series comes to an end a new journey begins. The Metamorphic Ruins project is soon to be completed with technical details coming in the coming weeks as my final semester of undergraduate ends. It’s been a surreal experience and I can’t wait to see what working in practice holds for my future. And then of course the masters adventure begins. I have always strived to create design that has a star factor, being in the saint studios brand identity, I’m excited to continue to create things that hopefully can inspire. - Thankyou for everyone’s support on this series. Especially Kelvin at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Daniel Brown at VU. - See you for the technicals very soon. #arch #archi #archlovers #archviz #architecture #archistudent #archisource #blender #visual #3dsmax #photoshop #architecturephotography #architecturelovers

Site Analysis | Understanding Falkirk. - Site Analysis can often be a mundane task in architecture, I also find it challenging to create meaningful and creative design when documenting areas and sites of projects. Attempting to combat that, hyper-detailed mapping and photography can be tools to increase interest and show understanding effectively. - Saint Studios. 2025.

The Metamorphic Ruins, Throwback. - This was actually my first attempt at modelling in blender, a Diving Bell Spider being documented on a river rock. Learning Blender and implementing it into my workflow has greatly improved my skills over the last month. Looking back and seeing the progress I’ve made has been a real highlight. - Saint Studios. 2025. - #arch #architect #architecture #blender #render #spider #rocks #drawing #student #undergraduate #archdesign #river #water #draw #rhino3d
