Rock Yacht, not Yacht Rock lol! Had the pleasure of rockin the aptly named Serenity Yacht Cruises Serenity III for Taylor & Jack's wedding reception!
This was fun and different, as it was both exhilarating and relaxing at the same time as the rockin yacht traveled down the Intracoastal Water Way Ft. Lauderdale with this cool 😎 couple and their guests, most of who travelled from Arkansas to celebrate the newlyweds at their #destinationwedding.
They say your vibe attracts your tribe, and this was another case where it was true. Everyone was warm, friendly, AND fun!! They brought the famous #southernhospitality with them.
It was such a good time to see em all celebrating on board this beautiful yacht with the backdrop of the really nice houses along the Intracoastal!

It was a rollin good time for Amy & Ted the new Mr. & Mrs. Roller!! They're both divers and had their ceremony standing in the water, which was really romantic, cool, and very unique (a first for me!). There was even a moving trubute to the groom's late Dad.
Also unique was the flow of events that started with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, THEN ceremony followed by PARTY TIME!! It was definitely hot, but even hotter on the dance floor during this #microwedding the guests didn't let a lil heat stop them from celebrating with this cool couple!
There's a great, natural vibe at rustic venues like this, and here there was the added level of down to earthness of it being an actual farm. The owner, @candicemccarthy gave me farm fresh eggs laid by her hens, and honey from her bees which was literally and figuratively
really sweet of her and much appreciated. They tasted great!!

Had a #goodtime at the New Mr. & Mrs. Good's wedding!! Cool last name! Sam, Ty, and many of their guests came all the way from New Jersey to celebrate their love at their #destinationweddingkeylargo !
They say, "Your vibe attracts your tribe," and that was definitely the case here. They were such a cool, fun, down to earth couple, and it felt sooo "good" to be their DJ&MC!
Sam is an admittedly Type A personality, and really appreciated my trademark thoroughness and attention to detail. It resulted as always in a fun, memorable celebration, highly customized to the couple's tastes, preferences, and vision. Glad I could deliver a "Good" time!
The Ceremony featured Josh, a fun officiant who was also the Person of Honor. He set the stage for the fun time!
We then went into a cool cocktail hour, followed by
formal dances. I got verklempt during the Bride-Brother dance as the bride dedicated this dance to her late Dad, who had passed recently, including a sound byte of a voicemail where he was saying how much he loves her. Great speeches were given by the Bride's uncle Lou, BM Alex, Josh Man of Honor
Sam & Ty gave me detailed playlists and allowed me some DJ improv choices, both of which worked great! They danced like crazy despite the heat.
I'm grateful to be able to do what I love, have work at a historically slower time of year, and bring the #goodtimes to cool couples like these. Thank you!

Le mariage de Danitza et Alexandre a été une célébration amusante et mémorable !!
Je me suis bien amusé la première fois en tant que MC en utilisant principalement le français
(Danitza & Alexandre's wedding was a fun, memorable celebration! I had fun my first time using mainly French as an MC)!!!
It was easier since I took 2 semesters in college, combined with being fluent in Spanish, and had a lil help translating key formalities in advance using Google Translate.
This cool couple traveled all the way from Lyons, France to celebrate their #destinationwedding at the beautiful @islanderresort . Talk about a destination wedding!! Wow!
It started with a memorable #beachwedding with the very talented @lidiceoran on violin (while I helped be human shield lol from the very windy conditions which were affecting the violin's sound).
Lidice continued the beautiful playing for cocktail hour, then we moved to dinner then PARTY TIME where the newlyweds and their families & friends danced the night away! They even played the popular Wedding Shoe Game in French(with the help of three of their guests asking the questions!
I'm really grateful to be a part of so many celebrations like these, and I really embrace other cultures.
