I keep thinking about how I used to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race in secret as a kid
too scared to even admit I was watching it
and now I just finished a residency in Drag Race Live on the strip
that does something to you
there was a point where I had to step away and realign my whole life
it was hard and it was lonely and I didn’t know where I was going
but somehow I found my way back to myself
back to the stage
back to my purpose
getting to do my burlesque number every night felt like coming home
this is what I’ve been building toward for years
this is who I am at my core
I sat backstage tonight looking at that neon sign and just felt everything
pride gratitude disbelief
like wow this really happened to me
this experience changed me
it made me fall in love with performing again
it reminded me that I am a showgirl through and through
to my cast I love you so much
thank you for the laughs the chaos the real moments and the genuine bonds
I will carry that with me forever 💙
I’m still growing
still becoming
still in my cocoon 🦋
but something new is coming
I can feel it

I’ve been back in the studio, back in the lab, sharpening my performance, reconnecting with my body, my stamina, my lines, my confidence… all of it 🪞⚔️✨
And yes, before the comments start, I KNOW this clip is messy to me 😭 my hands and arms were doing a lot and I definitely feel rusty, but honestly? Losing the weight I’ve lost has made me feel excited because I can already feel my flow, precision, speed, and endurance waking back up 🐍
