I have not sung this song since the day I wrote it, 10 years ago. The day before I wrote this, my beautiful jewel of a best friend lost her battle with depression and left this earth, and the grief has never left me. Today, I couldn’t stop thinking about her, and loving her, and missing her, and wanting her back.
