My latest scent installation in the iconic @theqvb , Sydney had people lining up for miles.
The collaboration celebrating Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for @duskaustralia and @warnerbrosau featured 7 individual fragrances pumping through factory pipes and in addition creating a live perfume in the air surrounding. Whiff and Wonder activation also had a wheel to spin and 8000 people did! Winning prizes and 60000 enjoying pure delight as they passed by.

The series ‘High jinks in the hydrangeas’ was made at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the aftermath of the Currowan fire that swept through the landscape close to the artist’s home in regional New South Wales in 2020. The social distancing requirement under the pandemic meant Dean could not work with models and so she turned to herself as subject. Throughout this period, Dean scouted a locale within an hour of her home to capture herself within. There is a delicate playfulness and yet often ominous or unsettling undercurrent within these works; nature being peeled back, dust being thrown, shears peaking from amidst carefully tended bushes and scattered bodies tumbling through the forest.

Patchovli from @profumumroma is not only a deep dive into patchouli as a raw material, exploring all its wonders but also an incredibly rich, earthy, sophisticated and comforting wear. It is clear I needed a bottle for Autumn, which is abruptly on our doorstep!! 🍁

Another iconic treasure from my collection today and this one is sadly no longer on the market. Beautiful for this tropical weather in Sydney at the moment being clean and fresh with aromatics initially followed by indolic florals like orange blossom and musks in the underbelly keeping it on skin in the sassiest way… plus, the dry down is a dream. 🖤
