Mary & George came out a month ago & is now streaming in the US 🤠 Massively grateful to @kvhcasting and to Florian Cossen for my TV debut, and on such special show! The wigs (!!!) the costume, the ruff — I truly felt like a work of art. Introducing ÁINE MCNAMARA as MAUD
Áine has trained under Dominique Moore, and at the Central School of Speech & Drama. She is currently training on the Lyric Hammersmith’s SPRINGBOARD programme and is a member of the National Youth Theatre.
Her stage work includes, ‘When We Were Normal’ (Three Sisters Productions), ‘Anne Boleyn’ (Round Church), ‘Paper Boats’ (Roadside Theatre), and ‘As You Like It’ (Fitzwilliam Museum). She is has appeared on BBC Radio 4 and in BFI Network shorts. Her television debut in Sky Atlantic’s period drama, ‘Mary & George’, comes out later this year.

Weaving together the past and present, NOT DEAD, BUT GROWING revolves around a multigenerational Irish family living in London as they tackle gentrification, uncover family secrets, and embark on new relationships.
