#AimsGrad Spotlight π
Student: Brian Bernal
Major/Area of Study: Psychology.
"My experience at Aims has been positive from the very first day on campus. It was easy to talk to an advisor and set up classes. I was shy and quiet at first, but again quickly learned that I needed to immerse myself in the college experience. I had to move from the back desk to a table of peers and talk. From that day on, I learned that these experiences were important to my success here at Aims. From being a shy non-traditional student to a leader on campus as SGA President has been a full-circle moment. I am looking forward to starting my new journey at UNC, where I will be pursuing my bachelor's in Human Services. I would love to somehow come back to Aims and give back to the future generations of Aims students, and help those who may need that extra help continuing their education."
