It’s been awhile since i’ve done any creative makeup looks or photoshoots for myself. It came easy to me as a teenager and was the only thing i did when I had free time or got random inspiration. However, since becoming an actual adult with bills and responsibilities and two jobs, the desire is still there but the energy is not. After I got my job this year as a professional photographer, everything needed to be perfect and approved with no room for my own creative liberties. I love my job and am so grateful to be what my child self always wanted to become, but it sometimes becomes monotonous and repetitive. So here’s me reminding myself that I still want to dress up, do my makeup, and take photos without it having to be perfect 💗

This shoot was loosely inspired by “Jibaro” from @lovedeathandrobots which is an absolutely amazing animation everyone should check out. Despite my lack of a full bodysuit of gold, I did my best to recreate the Golden Woman’s essence
