Electrification isn’t a buzzword or a distant “no way” future—it’s changing the very products we sell. By 2026, carbon-neutral mandates and high-efficiency electric heat will define our industry.
As a Rep Agency Council, we’re the bridge between the manufacturers building what’s next and the contractors installing it. Our job: simplify the complex.
From new refrigerant codes to utility mandates and advanced equipment, we turn “this is confusing” into “I’ve got this.” That starts with training—giving traditional plumbers the electrical literacy they need to support these systems for life.
The Great Makeover is here. Contractors and wholesalers: are you ready to lead it with us?

Elevating our industry, one connection at a time.
Our AIM/R members were proud to attend ELEVATE2026, presented by the ASA Women in Industry Division—one of the most vibrant, fast-growing networking experiences in our space. From powerful keynote speakers to candid conversations with seasoned professionals, the event offered real-world insights, fresh inspiration, and meaningful connections.
We left energized, equipped with new tools for both professional growth and personal development, and more committed than ever to moving the industry forward together.
AIM/R members, make sure you take advantage of this amazing benefit of your membership: benchmarking for reps. This is the best year yet to fill out the survey. Each member agency that completes the survey will receive a $100 refund on 2026 membership dues.
Discover the key differences between what it takes to be a Typical Performer and a Top Performer. How did you stack up? What was a great sales growth rate last year? How does your margin compare on buy/sell products? Are you spending more or less than your peers on people? If so, where? Executives, sales, warehouse staff, etc.
But to get to all that good stuff we need you to please fill out your benchmarking surveys. Tap the link in bio to get started. Please email [email protected] if you need help locating your surveys. Responses are due by May 29.
We’re proud to celebrate AIM/R member company Preferred Sales Inc. (PSI)—honored as Winsupply’s Rep Agency of the Year (and only the third agency in the nation to receive this distinction).

AIM/R Board members Michelle Lewnes-Dadas, CPMR and Benn Freeman, CPMR were proud to represent the rep community at the Winsupply Update and Local Company Panel.
They joined leaders from across the country to share how independent manufacturers reps drive growth, strengthen local relationships, and help Winsupply contractors and suppliers win in their markets. The week also included great conversations, new connections, and a little Texas style fun with our industry partners.
Thank you to Winsupply for the opportunity to be part of the discussion and to everyone who stopped to connect with AIM/R members during the event.
Industry Legend Bill Freeman was known by Manufacturers and Rep Agents alike for his passion for the industry. An AIM/R Past President (2006 - 2007) and a huge supporter of the Association as well as the Rep Advantage in the supply chain, Bill passed away unexpectedly in May 2022. To honor Bill’s memory and legacy, AIM/R has established the Bill Freeman Memorial Fund. This fund will provide financial resources to Rep Agents seeking professional development and industry certifications.
Since then, we have awarded the inaugural class of scholarship recipients with their first classes.
"When I applied for the AIM/R Bill Freeman Memorial Fund CPMR Scholarship, I had no idea how amazing of an opportunity this would be. I had heard the stories from mentors about how the CPMR program was great for their careers but until I went through 101 myself, it was hard to truly understand. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have received the scholarship as it will undoubtedly help me in not only my career but also my life as well. Thank you to everyone for helping us all achieve our goals as manufacturers’ representatives."—Andrew Metzler, Director of Sales for Lewis Marketing Inc.
