Getting to see world heritage sites to and from an authentic gitano flamenco performance where everyone present had a front row seat. I'm so thankful for my parents and sister for helping to create a trip that was all around incredible.

Today my fiance turns 30. In a few months we get married and I'm am so thankful every day I get to build a life with her. Today was a long day filled with celebration, loss, and travel. When we got home after a particularly emotional moment she stated, "Sometimes being alive is hard!" to which I replied "happy 30th birthday!?" Prompting her to laugh through the tears that had started to accumulate. So happy 30th my beautiful partner, may you continue to grow as the incredible person you are! May every little moment we share represent a grain of sand that becomes the beach we hold each other on at the end of our days as the tide comes in to take us on to eternity.

Today I turn 37, but a few weeks ago I was hiking in Patagonia with my sister, having the adventure of a lifetime. Drinking matè on mountains. Adventure is something that happens all around us. Sometimes everything looks so surreal; other times it's choosing to join in on the moment with others, or occasionally step outside that space to really take it in. I'm going to go back and post stuff from this past year over this birthday week, but instead of posting happy birthday. Maybe post what does adventure look like in your life?

Just got back from a trip of a lifetime with my family, I will post more pictures later, but I'm so glad I got to spend this trip with my sister, parents, and Helen our family friend from Brazil. So many amazing moments, fresh fruits and incredible sites we got to see. These were parts of the first two days or so.

NC last weekend was beautiful, 4 more trips and I will have to find other excuses for getting back into that area.

Seeing friends kill at comedy, Native American Pop-art, saxy christmas music on a boat, liberating night shots of all sorts of things... these are few of my favorites. NYC take 3

Day two in the books we actually went the right direction all day long. No guarantees of that happening every day. Saw Hadestown, which brought fun NOLA vibe to a greek classic. Split from my mom and sis and went to see a christmas comedy musical event. Stopped at the right food location Palo Santo with my dad, got our food and showed up just in time for the event. The journey of fluid people through concrete lands is filled with struggles to survive. Yet that journey allows you to randomly cross paths with someone you've known in another life, meet up with others you hadn't intended on seeing, or erects barriers through your day that separate you from people who've been on your mind the most. Also here for the semi masked grandmas...
