BOOK REVIEW // HEART ANALYTICS ~ KULTHUM ASHA šŸ’—šŸ’•šŸŽ€šŸ“š Heart Analytics… whewwww this book had me BLUSHING and SWOONING so bad šŸ˜šŸ¤ I’m not even going to lie, the beginning dragged a little for me and at first it felt kinda cringe and boring 😭 BUT the moment this book HIT??? OH IT HITTTT. Everything after that was an absolute BANGER. And honestly? This was slow burn in every GOOD way possible 😩 like the tension, the yearning, the build-up??? Inject it into my veins immediately. And can we talk about this gorgeous cover please??? Literally one of the prettiest covers I’ve seen in a while 😩✨ Rotimi… yeah that man officially owns my entire heart now. Like ACTUALLY. The hype, the reviews, the high expectations I kept seeing for this book? Met and exceeded because WHAT was this love storyyyyy šŸ¤ Renike the overachiever that you are… I love you regardless šŸ˜‚ and Teni??? My babe forever. The way Teni handled their mother too??? OUUUU I loved her BAD. Also Renike please send me that prayer word for word because where exactly did you find your own Rotimi??? I need answers immediately. And OF COURSE I’m using ā€œBe My Manā€ by Asa because that song is literally Rotimi and Renike coded šŸ˜šŸ¤ Now that I’ve closed the book I already miss them so bad like these are MY people now 😭 And to the author, Kulthum Asha your hands are BLESSED. I’m already hooked and I genuinely cannot wait to read more from you because wow… you ate this up BAD. Every hopeless romantic like me needs to pick this up NEOWWWWW šŸ˜šŸ¤ AimaReads rating: āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

The stationery shop of Tehran ~ Marian Kamali I’m urging you to drop whatever you’re currently reading and pick this up now. Omgss šŸ„ŗšŸ˜ Blurb Roya, a dreamy teenager in 1950s Tehran, finds solace in a cozy stationery shop filled with books, ink, and quiet magic. There, she meets Bahman a passionate young man who shares her love for poetry and justice and their love story begins. But on the eve of their marriage, political unrest tears them apart, and Bahman disappears without a trace. Decades later, fate brings Roya a second chance to uncover the truth behind that heartbreaking day. A poignant, emotional novel about first love, loss, and the enduring power of destiny. BOOK REVIEW // BEHIND HER EYES ~ SARAH PINBOROUGH šŸ“ššŸ‘€ Okay so clearly I’m on a thriller streak right now 😭 I’d heard so much about the series, but I decided to read the book first and yeah, no regrets. I definitely enjoyed the book more. But I’m not even going to lie, I had to go search for spoilers halfway through because my brain could not keep up with what was happening šŸ˜… I don’t usually do that, but this one?? It was messing with my head too much. What starts off looking like a simple love triangle turns into something way darker and honestly… unsettling. Like, you think you know what kind of story you’re reading, and then it just flips everything. By the end, the title made so much sense, and I just sat there like… wow. The first half felt a bit slow for me, I won’t lie. I was easing into it, trying to figure out the characters and where it was going. But once it picked up??? I was fully locked in. Like WHATTT is going on here?? Adele and David’s relationship seems perfect on the surface almost too perfect. Then there’s Louise, who gets pulled into both of their lives in completely different ways, and that’s when everything starts to feel… off. The dynamics are messy, confusing, and lowkey addictive to read. I trusted nobody 😭 The shifting POVs and timelines threw me off at first, but once it clicked, it really clicked. The characters will frustrate you, confuse you, and still keep you hooked at the same time. Honestly, it gave me vibes of The Housemaid mixed with Split that kind of eerie, psychological, ā€œsomething is not right hereā€ energy. And that ending?? Yeah… I get why people are divided, but for me, it was bold, shocking, and completely unforgettable. If you love psychological thrillers with twists that make you question everything, this one is definitely worth the ride. #aimareads #behindhereyes #behindhereyesšŸ“š #bookreview #booksbooksbooks

Book Review: Fast by Millie Belizaire ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This story follows Caprice and Shaun, and honestly, I’m not even a big fan of friends-to-lovers because it can feel repetitive sometimes…but this book completely proved me wrong. The love Shaun had for Caprice from such a young age? So pure, so selfless it had me in my feelings fr. And when they lost touch?? My heart broke. But the way they found their way back to each other… yeah, I was blushing like a high school girl 😭 One thing I really loved was how the book was structured. Each act felt like a whole new phase of life we see them as kids, teenagers, and then adults in their careers. And through all those stages, their love never really faded. That consistency? Beautiful. But let me not liethis book is raw. It’s emotional, it’s heavy, and it deals with deep trauma. Caprice’s story, especially what she went through… it was heartbreaking and honestly hard to read at times. What happened in a place that was supposed to be safe? Yeah… that part really stayed with me. And what Caprice did to Shaun?? Omg 😭 I also loved the therapy aspect and how it showed healing and growth. This is more than just a romance; it’s a coming-of-age story about trauma, resilience, and becoming better. Please check trigger warnings before reading! #aimareads #nigerianbooks #bookreviews

Today felt like the perfect time to dig up some old pictures from when I first started this little book journey… back when I was just finding my way back to reading and figuring out my voice on here šŸ“šāœØ It’s crazy how far I’ve come from just sharing random thoughts to building something that truly feels like me. Every page, every review, every story has shaped this journey in its own way. Happy World Book Day šŸ¤ Here’s to the books that found us when we needed them most, and the stories we’re still yet to discover.
