Klang Gates Reservoir Loop : 664 Meters / 2,178 Feet ✅ #7
At last, I’ve seen the reservoir from below. I still remember back in early 2015, standing on the peaks of Bukit Tabur West & East, looking down at this dam. The memory had faded, but today the view returned in a completely new way.
Throughout the hike, I didn’t meet a single person. When I finally descended from the peak, it felt as if I were one of the indigenous peoples, crossing paths with humans after a long isolation. Can you imagine at the beginning you meet a few hikers, but once you take a different route, it feels as though you and your companions are the only explorers left on the entire hill.
bukit Gasing Extended Loop: 321 Meter / 1,053 Feet ✅ #6
At first, I thought this loop would only be around 5km, but an unexpected section pushed it further, and my tracker ended at 7.12km. If completed fully, it could easily reach 8–9km. One of my team members almost gave up, so we decided to cut the route short. This extended loop feels different from the usual Bukit Gasing circuit less used, almost hidden at times, and not many hikers seem to take it. That made it tougher than expected, even with modest elevation. Still, we pushed through and managed to finish. The view is Worthy, but it’s not easy to climb 😏
I’ve often heard people say Bukit Dinding Kazumi + Mini Tahan is very hard for beginners, but after experiencing Gasing’s Extended Loop, I feel it also deserves more respect. Looking forward to trying bukit Dinding soon to see if it’s really as tough as people claim.
Madei Hill — 724 m / 2,375 ft ✅ #5
After a 3-week break, I finally got back on the trail with my team. This turned out to be one of the longest hikes I’ve ever completed, and I’m glad to say we made it to the end!
Happy Independence Day, Malaysia! 🇲🇾😎
Desa Damai Hill: 354 m / 1,161 ft ✅ #4
Probably the shortest hike I’ve ever done… but don’t be fooled. The road might look easy, but the way up will test you 😭. Even my friends called it a “fake hill” to climb. Worth it for the view though! 😎
Air Terjun 7 Puteri: 337 m / 1,105 ft ✅ #3
After a long break (just a week) good to be back to nature. Will be long journey 😎 This will be first Quest hill. It’s not our main mission while hiked 💪🏻 Don’t know which one is accurate Strava or Alltrails.
Bukit Kiara Peak: 215 m / 705 ft ✅ #2
My Second time hiking this trail, and honestly, I found it quite challenging probably because I started from Gate Ayuria. The beginning was manageable, but after a few minutes, I ended up walking through a construction site.
Sad to see so many trees had been cut down… but then again, it’s not my land, so who am I to question it?
Eventually, I managed to find the proper trail again, and from there everything felt more familiar back to nature, back to peace. Despite the tough start, it was still a rewarding hike.
Bukit Gasing Circular: 232 m / 760 ft ✅ #1
After a long time since I hiked all the Bukit Tabur trails back in early 2015 (I think 😅), I suddenly stopped not because I wanted to, but because I no longer had a hiking partner.
Then earlier this year in January, I went for Bohey Dulang in Semporna Sabah. I had my doubts wasn’t sure if I could get back into it but I ended up surprising myself.
So here’s to starting again. My first proper hike of 2025
