For me, coming back to my wellness practices when moving through big life transitions, gave me enough space and stillness to find my way forward when the next step wasn’t clear. I knew like-minded people were out there…but didn’t know where to meet them. Hosting events has always been part of me, long before yoga ever was. But building a business, that felt lonely at times. Then I heard of ikigai.. the idea of building a life around what you love, what you’re good at and what people need. I wanted to be around inspiring and uplifting humans. So I stoped waiting to find my people and started to create spaces for them instead. A series of yoga socials were birthed, collaborating with epic bristol foodies like @rebelrox.kitchen + @bibloswraps , craft clubs with @potheads.pottery and early mornings jumping into @clevedonmarinelake for sunrise yoga + swim sessions. Now settled fully back into Fishponds offering yoga, barre, reiki and rest and keen to start socialising again Creating spaces to move, connect and actually feel like you belong. That’s what community means to me ✨

I always had one mission in mind… to bring a yoga studio feel to the people of Fishponds. This is where I grew up + back then class options were pretty limited… a gym class or 45min+ drive into Bristol (and there’s nothing relaxing about rush hr traffic 🤣) So I created my own spaces. Just a mat and a mission. I started teaching Yoga in @fishponds_pottery , doctor’s surgeries, festivals, parks, cafes, office spaces. I kept showing up with same intention: to offer something local, welcoming and real. Since 2021, we’ve had a gorgeous fishponds studio to host yoga, barre and restorative classes, with a friendly and committed community. Fun fact: its the same studio I learnt ballroom dance in as a teen 🥹 reminder that life really does come full circle ✨ 📸 @madisonbrooke_photo

Mission to move into 2026 with more sparkle. Some days it feels like your spark has dimmed.
